The superstores offer traditional dry grocery departments as well as perishables such as meat and produce. Another format SUPERVALU operates is the limited assortment stores. This format provides the consumer low price opportunity through a limited dry grocery and perishable offering. Our combination formats have a variety of grocery dry goods as well as a variety of perishable goods such as floral, seafood, delicatessen, and bakery, while also providing competitive prices. The combination format also offers our customers special services, i.e., pharmacies, in-store banking, and photo finishing.
Our distribution and logistics facilities vary in size and structure and include an increasingly diverse group of retail avenues: mass merchandisers, e-retailers, large regional supermarket chains, traditional supermarket chains, military contracts, third party logistics management and SUPERVALU's retail operations.
